If I have my own Airmiles account and my wife has hers, does anyone know if we can link these together so the miles accumulate in one account? Or can you transfer miles from one account to the other? I checked the Airmiles website but it's impossible to find an answer.

You can definitely merge accounts, linking on the other hand I'm not so sure about. Regardless, it's easy to get additional Air Miles cards so if you guys just go under one name it's essentially the same thing as being linked.
As for merging...~
You go to account..... login
and on the left hand side there's a link for "Merge Accounts"

Oh cool, does the points merge together?

I think I may of took "linking" in another way, in that you both have different names on your cards and it pools somewhere. I know you can merge an account under one name, not sure if that auto links the accounts for future use or whether one of you has to get a new card.

Never actually done it myself, but I'd imagine. I don't think there's any special technicality.

I just checked the link for merging accounts. You basically have to close one Primary Collector account and the points from it can be merged or deposited into the other Primary Account.
