What to see in Beijing, Singapore, Bali

Ok, we have the tour books, but any cool things to see and do for the family (2 kids under 6) in any of these three destinations?

Roughly a week in each place (longer in Bali).

think like a 6 year old who loves animals and the outdoors (our little Diego)....really I am looking for off the beaten track (not in your everyday guide book).

Great restaurants that are not in guide books...events....and such are great too...

Can't provide any other advice for kids though, sorry. Might want to avoid Kuta Beach in Bali if you're with the kids. Lots of drunks. Check out volcanoes around the island.

A friend of mine brought their 2 yr old and all they did on the tour was ask "where is it?" or "there it is! Hiding beneath that..." or "we need more light!.

heard that too...so we are staying 5 nights at the Westin in Nusa Dua (apparently they are very kid friendly) and 5 nights at the Le Meridien at Tanah Lot (more for just relaxing)....using points so it was nice that they are both inexpensive for point redemption.

You can definitely check out Malaysia for animals and off beaten trails. Many tourists get eaten by the tigers every year :)

Sentosa in Singapore is very kid-friendly. You can access it via monorail or bus, but I suggest you take the cable car ride to the island. I have to admit, that cable car ride is the only thing I remember of Singapore when I first went there as a kid (roughly the same age as your kids). That and the airport.

visit wonderland
they hv awesome beach there
for eating try warung made , u can find em in seminyak or kuta

if u have a day 2 spare, try the water rafting
its awesome, u got 2 see a bat cave and waterfall
