Hey guys,
With all the great deals for partial rolls of cable going on at TSCC, I know find myself in need of connectors - especially for the standard RG6 COAX cable.
The ones available at TSCC seem overpriced, espcially considering you're only paying $10 total for the entire 250ft of cable, it seems silly to also spend $10 on 2 simple connectors as well.
For the Network cable, a link to the specialized crimping tool would be great too.
Thanks.

I would recommend that you purchase compression connectors and tool for coax. These are the weather-proof sealed connectors. MUCH MUCH better than the cheap crimp connectors. Also, ensure you purchase a stripper to get the cable stripped properly. This way putting an end on a cable is a 10-15 sec job, and you can't really mess it up.

If you are in GTA, the sat stores on Matheson, west of Dixie in Mississauga sell bulk bags containing 50 connectors for $15. They have both weatherproof crimp on and press in style connectors. They also have the crimpers. I haven't really used a good RG6 stripper. They all seem to leave small stray wires that short out the connection. I find I have better luck stripping RG6 by hand
They may have RJ45 LAN connectors plus the crimper. Sayal, next door will have as well. Make sure you get the right RJ45 connectors. There's 2 different styles - for stranded and solid wire.

rps seems to have Cat6 on sale, I purchased Cat5E a while ago for a good price, keep in mind the sale seems to be for a full roll.
For the tool I think I got one from Canadian tire? don't really remember were I got it, I only needed to do the ends of my cable and a friends, not the best tool in the world but it works, I'm sure who ever sells the cable should have the tool?
