I've bought Moen from Home Depot before. Many shops will also special order an item for you if they carry that manufacturer but not that item.

hey sorry for the delay - the page is members only (I subscribe) and I don't have the ability to PDF the webpage right now. I'll look into that for you later on and will try to PM you.

eBay is usually a great place to buy plumbing fixtures. I've ordered 2 faucets and saved a ton of money. I'm looking to get a 3rd, but in this case, it will be cheaper for me to go through an AmeriFriend and get it from HomeDepot.com.

The price difference between Canada and the US is scary. Appalling, actually.

I ordered a fancy body jet + showerhead system from www.faucetdirect.com and they were substantially cheaper than buying from a Canadian retailer even after shipping. Moen is made in North America so there is no additional duty.

I hate to say buy from the US, but the price difference (as was previously stated) was appalling.

The Moen Inspire 21777 showerhead (along with the 21778 version) was voted the #1 showerhead in the Consumer Reports August 2009 issue. This was based on the amount of water it uses, it's easiness to install, the number of settings it has, among other factors.

I tried to find this model that was Consumer's Report Best Buy. None of the major chains (Home Depot, Crappy Tire, Rona, etc had it). I ended up looking on the "Where to Find" site by Moen and ordered it through an independent supplier. They took about a week to get it in. Woseley Mechanical, Silvercreek Parkway N, Guelph, 519.821.4021.
Installed it myself, but had to tighten it pretty hard for it not to leak. Great purchase, works really well and quiet. You can spend $10 for a piece of crap or even $200. I highly recommend this model.

Have had good experiences ordering this type of stuff for csnstores.com
US mail order company, but have their act together for shipping to Canada. Will tell you right in the ordering cart how much the cross-border fees will be.
