Hi everyone, I bought a house that had a kidney shaped pool. This is my second year in the house and I am really considering removing the pool due to the maintenance. I prob spent over 2k last year on just elect/heat/chemicals and only used it 3-4 times. And some of those times were just so I could say I used it. I figure for this kind of cost I could have took my entire family to the water park for a lot less.

Anyhow I have vinyl pool but I don’t know how it is constructed so if anyone has any advise on how I should begin to remove it I would appreciate the help. Also I have a corner lot house so getting equipment in to the back yard will not be a problem.

I don’t know if I should contact a landscaper or an excavation contractor to do this work.

Thanks

I would remove the pump/electronic parts from the ground and back fill the thing.

You'll probably save $$ on your home owners insurance policy too.
