New York City Hotel Deals?

Heading down to NYC on July 5th staying for the week....anyone know some good deals?

I don't know New York at all, ideally would like to stay within walking distance to major attractions like central park and times squares, etc.

You'll find plenty of threads about NYC on this forum.

Stay anywhere south of 125th Street and you'll be "close" to plenty of things. Don't pick a place just because it's near something you're intending to visit once.
