Has anyone had experience selling home privately. If Yes, could you pls. guide me through the process from start to finish including all the documentation.

I know there are sites like bytheowner.com so pls. don't ask me to go to them as there are no details about the process. I am more interested in knowing the process rather than a place to list my property.

Thanks!!

Well I guess the first step is to determine will you be using a website like forsalebyowner or not.

Because I think when you sign up with sompanies like that, they guide you through most of the work from supplying a standard AGREEMENT OF PURCHASE documents, to taking photos, uploading them, supplying signs for you to put around your neighbourhood etc.

Otherwise, if you don't plan to use ANY service and do it 100% on your own, you can do almost anything you want from your own advertising etc...

You'll still need a real estate lawyer and a copy of a Agreement of Purchase document for when you do sell your home so the buyer and yourself and fill it out and sign to seal the deal.

Also, be prepared for a ton of realtors calling you to list with them.

Given that this question gets asked and answered about every week here, I'd say no.
