I was looking for a full-body protector for my iPhone, and I wanted to buy it at Bestbuy since I have store credit. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything that met my needs. However, I thought about using my store credit to buy a Visa gift card, and buying the protector online. This leads to my question:
Do they sell Visa/MasterCard gift cards?

another question is...can you purchase said card with the store credit, or is it only good towards merchandise

yes thats exactly what they are,but i believe there is a 3$ or so activation fee...so a 25$ card is only really 22$...... ive only seen mastercard at SD...dont think bestbuy has any..
