Hi,

I am planning to travel in the US at the end of July and I would like to rent a car from across the border. My plan is to drive to Buffalo from toronto and drop my car somewhere in Buffalo and rent a car from there. Since I am under 25 and I am canandian , I was wondering if this is possible. Any insights?? Thanks in advance.

we did this before...except we rented a car from LA and drove it to vegas....we are under 25 and it was a one way deal; meaning we returned the car in las vegas NOT back to LA.

It was not hard to do but it was very expensive (close to $200 for 1.5 days) .... since we had 5 people so it worked out to $37.xx i think a person and it was cheaper to fly to LA then vegas from YVR at the time even with the extra $37.xx

Use Thrifty with Discount # 1660228069 to waive underage fee. -No underage driver surcharge ...
Hertz's under 25 no fee code cdp (126884)

Just do a google search for different discount codes and underage codes
