I am looking at Charlie Condos which is slated for a 2011/2012 completion. It is being built at the corner of King and Charlotte.
i really like its location and think that might help interms of resale cos its close to the financial district. Its an elegant building wih nice infrastructures and amenities. The structure looks nice and will have about 32 floors(although am not a fan of so may floors, i think it makes the building crowded). I am looking at a 1 bedroom + den (The Lace 1) 666sq. ft and a 46 sq ft balcony at $300,900 on the 10th floor. It is being built by Great Gulf Homes. They built 18 Yorkville, The Hudson, The Saint James, One Sherway, X The Condominium and the Morgan. And have won a few awards(if it counts for anything).
The second I checked out is "Liberty on the Park Condos" being built in Liberty Village in the King West area. This one has 16 floors and is very basic. I like that it is 16 floors (not too crowded).No pool, no uneccessary amenities( am thinking this might be good since uneccessary amenties have the tendency to cause maintenance fee to rise).This one is slated for completion next year and construction has already begun. I was looking at the 1 bedroom on the 10th floor for $227,900(The Nectar). 609sg ft in toatal (544 sq ft + 65sq ft bacony) This one is overlooking a park and has a view facing East. it is being built by CanAlfa. There is one condo already builtby Monarch beside it called Vibe.
Is anyone buying into any of these properties. Does anyone know anything about these properties, the builders, experience, pricing?AA
Opinions? Concerns? Advantages? Disadvantages? Location? Future of building? Resale prospects? Anything?
