We purchased the product Weed-B-Gon Concentrate (http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100619042&N=10000003+90072+527083) (1 Qt) from the US. Unfortunately the hose attachment version didnt exist so this concentrate edition had to do.

I only have an empty CIL WeedOut hose attachment bottle (http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/2/OutdoorLiving/FertilizersGrassSeed/WeedControl/PRD~0593960P/CIL%2BAttach-and-Spray%2BWeedOut.jsp).

Can someone tell me....Is the Attach & Spray bottle the EXACT SAME as the Concentrate but with the spray nozzle?
Ideally i just want to reuse my empty attach & spray bottle with the concentrate without having to do much work, unless necessary.

Doesn't it tell you what the mixing ratio is. If not then go to Ortho.com and get their 1-800 number call and ask them.

I think this is the worst way (and also most expensive way) to apply. It's better to spot treat the weeds themselves and avoid punishing the rest of the lawn.

The best way is to apply with an old school watering can or pump garden sprayer. Mix as per the directions on bottle and add a small squirt of dish soap. The dish soap allows the mixture to cut through the waxy coating on the weeds and increases the absorption of weedout. Spot apply the mixture directly to the weeds

This way a bottle of weedout will last for a few years vs. only 1/2 the summer using the shotgun approach.

The shotgun approach of blasting the whole entire lawn with lots herbicide just to kill a handful of weeds is why all these bans are now in place.

Agree with the previous poster that's why I would contact Ortho and get the mixing ratio then get a spray bottle and just hit the weeds

I got a friend from the US to bring a spray bottle, I had hoped she would bring the attach-to-hose version. I just applied it today. I read online that it takes about 7 days for it to actually kill the weed. My brand new sod in inundated with Thistles and crab grass.

Did the Weed b gon that you purchased from the US work? If so, how long did it take?
