Was the 3rd last or 2nd last card always a rare right? I remember getting a Charazard in my first pack of Pokemon cards(1st edition too). I don't really know what happened to it after that lol...

me too first time i colllected pokemon cards when it first came out. my first pack got a charizard which was the rarest card at the time. i quickly traded in store for 2 packs more... a week later charizard was worth over 100. FML?

My friend had one. he went to the store to buy more and got a Zaptost or what ever and got 2 packs for it and after trading in another rare for a few more packs he got another charizard!! I did everything to buy it off him but he traded that in and got **** cards after that.

Charziard is the final evolve of charmander which evolves from charmeleon. The card itself was 120hp and it had some fire move that did a lot of dmg, it was also a holo card so it was good.

But yea, I remember, 120 HP, highest of all Pokemon except for Chansey(120 too), and had a 100 damage Fire Spin which took 4 fire energies. Had some Pokemon power that I didn't recall :p

It needs 4 fire, but it only removes 2 as I recall. But none the less, very powerful, LOL.

i remember people (kids) actually paid a bit for the rare cards.. spoiled kids paid around 300 for a blastoise or w.e.

oh man.. charizard was the biggest thing EVER back in elementary school.. one of my friends had it in 2 sleeves and in a case with screwdrivers in it as well. my friends and i all admired him :(

lol back in my elementary, some kid paid $50 for it. Turns out the guy that sold it stole it from someone else. Thereafter, the school banned pokemon cards since many kids complained of being ripped off when they couldn't do trade backs.

i had a whole stack of pokemon cards back in grade 7-8. i never really play with them, i sold them to elementary school kids. $20 for hologram and $10 for star cards, $5 for diamond cards. I was making a lot of money until the school decided the no pokemon card policy.
