so ever since i was a kid. if i get a cold breeze (even in 30c summer) around the stomach area i will get this stomach pain that's difficult to endure. then i must go to washroom to go poo. after i poo the stomach pain is gone.

i dunno if cold temp is the cause for the stomach pain cuz i have tried wearing a tshirt in -10c winter and i didnt get stomach pain. this only seems to happen in the morning.

the doc will just put me on pills that probably dont do anything. read this? http://digg.com/health/Teen_diagnoses_her_own_disease_in_science_class_2

this only happens every once in a blue moon (happened today) but its still annoying. it also catches me at the most inconvenient times. this morning i was driving, it was hot, i turned on AC, 15 mins later i got this stomach pain while driving. had to stop somewhere to poo.

Damn man, this sounds like the later stages of colon cancer.
You should have gotten this checked out years ago.
If you've waited this long, its probably too late to get rid of it.
I had a friend once, same exact problem--the cancer nearly killed him but he was really lucky he caught it early.

No, I'm just kidding. But seriously get it checked out with a doctor, that does sound unusual.

It's probably IBS...nothing to worry about.

shouldnt IBS be more frequent? in fact my morning stomach pains are so rare now i dont remember the last time i had it. i do know it almost always happens in the morning.

Just ask mom or dad to buy you a private doctor to hold your hand

i could but since i also like to get good deals (thus being on rfd), getting a private doc isnt a good deal.

I don't know about you, but free is a pretty hot deal, not like it's your money ;)

I suspect its nothing but a strange association you've made between a cold sensation and releasing your bowels.
Some people have to go pee whenever they hear running water. Same idea.

IBS? Could be, but IBS has become a catch all for whatever ails someone related to their stomach/bowels, for which no other explanation can be found. No cure either.

As everyone else has said, ask your Dr., even if its only at your next scheduled visit for some other problem.
Or just keep risking shatting your pants unpredictably. Its your life.

I know lots of ppl who experience this (mainly women) and I've been told that it's IBS...as a previous poster said "a catch all for whatever ails someone related to their stomach/bowels".

I wouldn't run to the doc this very minute especially since this isn't something new...you could mention it to your doc the next time you go for an annual...but be prepared because they may send you for a colonoscopy.

Hi OP. Are you Chinese? You can also try a Chinese Doctor. I thought I remember hearing these on Chinese Medicine discussions before but I thought these are BS since it never happens to me. If this happens to you, then maybe they have an explanation (and possibly a remedy) for it.

If you don't get it checked out now and it turns out to be something preventable/treatable had you seen a doctor earlier, you'll end up being an even bigger burden on the health care system. Besides, if you're going to see the doctor annually anyway for your physical, just ask him then. You'll just need to tie a string around your finger to remind yourself to ask. ;)

Eh? If you're paying taxes you're paying for the healthcare system whether you use it or not so why not use it?

If you're suffering from some kind of medical condition and want to get it checked out... that's the point of the healthcare system no? That's far from leeching.

Leeching would be going to a hospital and asking for a nurse to put a band-aid on your finger because you got a paper cut on it...

Don't worry, I get the exact same thing.

I just always have to wear an undershirt so taht no cool breezes go up my shirt.
It kind of sucks during the summer, but it also isn't bad if you have dryfit clothing so that your clothes don't soak up the sweat.

It sucks...but eh...its easy enough to deal with.

somatoform disorder.
all u gota do is go poop, then after that go back into the room, and sit near an AC. since u already pooped and ur body temp goes down, u most likely will not want to poop again.

repeat 10 times

if not cured come to me, i give u placebos, VERY strong ****, and itll help u out.
