Hey everyone,

I have to buy a July metropass for my brother who is a high school student. He lost his student TTC card so he is in the process of getting a new one. But for now, he needs to ride the TTC (but he'll be getting dropped off at a station).

Do the student versions of the metropass have the same auto-swipe as the adult metropasses that allow you to go through the automatic doors/turnstyles?
Or will he need to wait to get his student TTC card and have to go through by showing the TTC ticket booth person?

Thanks!

student versions have the same auto-swipe as adult. If your boarding a bus/streetcar or showing the collector at a station, you will need the student id card. ymmv.

Ahh, thank you, that sounds great. Guess he won't have any problems then, just wanted to make sure

Good thing Metro sells metropasses, 5% off $91.25 is awesome!

Speaking of Metropass, i got a July metro pass but it came with a sticker on it, so if i just remove this it works right (green colour label)? Been using tokens my whole life so just switching now to using a Metropass.
