Which one do you guys think is better? More specifically, how do the nursing programs compare? If I were to go by website alone, I'd say U of A. A lot of the U of C website is incomplete.
I do know that U of A is ranked much higher than U of C but someone recently told me that it was more of a party school than U of C and that U of C students had better attitudes.
Any U of C or U of A graduates out there? What do you guys think?

Can never judge a place by its website :) - but yeah, I would too. Much different.
If you're local, go check them out.. otherwise, hope there are some experienced RFDers who know first hand :)

I go to the UofA and have no complaints. However, I hate Edmonton and if you're coming from Calgary, you will hate Edmonton even more. If I lived in Calgary, I would go to the UofC.
then again, depending on the program and where I planned to go (Masters, PhD, etc), I think I would be more interested in it's ranking than anything else.
If you spend a few hours going over all of the threads on similar issues, you will find that a general consensus has been established for undergrad location having little - if any - impact on your advance into the labor market. Grad studies appear to have an impact; however, the degree of an impact is still in debate. (your welcome for saving you a few hours).

on the whole, UofA trumps UofC
many people from calgary go to UofA rather than vice versa.
but i cant say specifically for nursing between the two. what i can say is that UofA has a pretty decent program.
