I was just on the phone w/ Rogers retention and this is what they offered me for a 3yrs extension. I still have 2.5 years left on my contract, and they said I'm not eligible for an hardware upgrade yet.
plan 1)
$25 +SAF
300 mins
6pm evening
caller id
rogers to rogers mobile
plan 2)
$20 + SAF
250 mins
8pm evening
caller id
rogers to rogers mobile
add $3 for 30 txt msg to either plan
I am not a heavy talker, as long as there's rogers to rogers I'm fine. But I am looking for more txt msg and possibly voice mail. Anyone else got something better than this?
**UPDATE** Settled on this plan today.
$20 + SAF + 911
-250 mins
-8pm evening
-voice mail
-call id
-2500 txt
-rogers2rogers
totally happy with it

Honestly, thats pretty good plan for being only 6 months into your contract.
I wish I had that plan back then..now I'm 2.5 years into my contract and still paying more than you with a very similar plan.

actually, I've been with them for about 6 years. I just renew the contract almost every year to get a new phone for reselling

I guess thats not a great plan but still a good one for being a customer for that long.
I know they reset your revenue generated everytime you HUP so maybe you could get a better plan if you don't HUP as often.

hmm, might be able to get the txt credited as well.
both plans are technically the same. 6pm calling is a $5 option, maybe you can try and get that credited.
I think for being with them for 6 years you should get a little something more.

Looks good, now you get texting included.
Did you just ask for it?

not really, talked to a diff rep this time, she saw the plan that the other rep offered me yesterday, and said she can add voice mail and txt for me and thats the most she can give me.
hopefully i can get a good discount on a data plan when I go for my upgrade nxt time.
