Been researching storage devices. This one does not have a NIC or esata port. But this is the cheapest I have seen for this device. Everywhere else the cheapest is $399 after MIR

This is a great price, the total is around $314 with tax after you get the rebate back. That's the equivalent of getting it for $278 before tax if you purchased it in Ontario.

Might have been a price error because the price has changed.

Compu2000 frequently removes these prices and puts that back on. I have seen it happen with the seagate 1.5 TB for 119.99 as well. Check often if you are interested. They might put it back on.

As for me, I havent jumped on it yet. I might go for a NAS solution like the dlink dns-323.

Was just about to jump on this deal too. Was looking at the DNS-323 but at $299 the Drobo is too good to pass up.
