About the rogers $30 6G data plan

Since this data plan is a separate contract (you pay a separate $100 cancellation penalty other than the $400 for the voice plan), is it possible to sell/transfer only the data plan to others who need the plan?

For example, if I buy a HTC Magic with the $30 6G data plan, and I?only want to keep the phone and voice plan, can I sell/transfer the data plan to others?

nope thats rediculous, thats like trying to sell your call display feature onto someone elses line, unheard of, no body in their right mind would even think about doing this, let alone trying to make a profit off it either.

This data plan is different from the caller id. to cancel only caller id, you don't have to pay an early cancellation fee.

I doesn't mean to make profit to sell my data plan, I mean transfer/or sell for free to someone need it but not eligible to get it.

i doubt that rogers or fido would let you trade your data plan away, that would defeat the purpose of having one because if someone else needs it, they cna go get it themselves.. so your stuck with it dude. or pay 100 bucks to get ride of the cancellation fee
