There are post-paid plans, that are on a term (e.g 2-yr, 3-yr)
On the the other hand, there are other companies e.g Fido which let you go month-to-month.
Any other companies?

Yup... all the big companies have affiliated companies for that business.
Bell = Solo Mobile
Telus = Kudoo
Rogers = Fido
They target low end users that want to go month to month without a SAF.

They all allow month to month. You just get no discounts for not commiting.

It is true that even the big three Rogers/Bell/Telus offer month to month but I know with Rogers at least if you want any sort of decent plan you have to sign at least a 1 year contract.
If you want zero contract with Rogers I think the cheapest plan they have is $30.
