Here is my current Fido plan:

200/100 E/WE + Unlimited Incoming 25$
200 Text Messages 5$ (I added it myself)
Voice Message 7$
911 Emergency Fee 0.50$
System Access Fee 6.95$
Credit: Monthly Credit 7$ -7$ (For the VM?)

With the new Fido plans, they no longer charge system fee and 911 fee, then I look at the new 25$......

100 Minutes
Unlimited WE and Evenings
Free Text messaging (sent and received)
No system Access fee.

That's look like a better plan that save me 6.95$ SAF, 911 Fee and 5$ Txt Msg fee.

But I still need VM, and 100 daytime minutes doesn't seems a lot to me....(I may or maynot pay extra every month if I go over 100 day time minutes.

I'm still in contract until December 2009, you think is it better off than I keep my current plan until the end of contract to get retention plan offer or change it now......

What do you guys think?

Thanks!

id say you wait it out or call retentions now. because you can get a much better plan for that price. i got my dad and sister tthis retention pla
$25 no SAF
200 Weekday
Free after 7PM and Weekends
2500 texts
caller id
voicemail
unlimited F2F
and they probably ahve MUCH better plans now in retentions. and you can upgrade to a new phone. so thats a plus.

Also if you switch to a plan with no SAF, there's a fee of 35$ and you're NO LONGER ELIGIBLE to agreement renewal (yes it sound ridiculous but it's the case).

Right now you're looking at $100 ecf tops.

How much savings could Fido throw your way to convince you to forfeit this priceless positioning vis-a-vis the imminent onslaught of competing wireless providers, by accepting a $400 ecf?

My advice is unchanged to anyone in your position. Unless its a stupendous retention plan...bite your time and ride the wave when the crest breaks.
