I'll be going to school this year and becoming a Medical Lab Technician/Assistant.

Are there a lot of jobs out there for me? Can you direct me to a few job postings?

Try looking at non major centres.

Now, I can speak for MLT's, but there is a tremendous shortage. Out west, we have lost Technical Specialists back to the lab as they offered money equal to what industry was paying (unheard of until a few years ago) and a more stable work/life balance....

Some GPs (like my father-in-law) also have lab techs on staff.
