I'm a high school student who's never worked before, but I want to find a job for the summer. I know it's too late, but I'm still going to try places like Tim Hortons and other stores.
I have a few questions:
Is it easy to get hired by those places?
How long does it take to hear back from them?
For writing a resume, should I include my volunteer experiences and school activities in place of work experience? Do they have to be relevant to the job I'm looking for?
Thanks in advance!

You can try applying at CNE, I believe their job fair for their annual season is coming up in two weeks.

When I was in high school, I found that camp jobs were the easiest jobs to get. It might be a bit late now, but you could always call some day camps. I know that some people quit midway because they could not stand it.

1) No because all the easy hires have already hired.
2) If you don't get a callback in 2 weeks, consider it a rejection.
3) Volunteer experiences, yes, school activities, no. No but it's best if it is.
