i'm looking for a few of the super high wattage cfl's to try out for outdoor lighting at a commercial property a friend owns

something like these 250w ones

Wouldn't a halogen or Metal halide bulb be more efficient? I heard the harsh Canadian weather can make these types of CFL's burn out faster when used outdoors.

Look up Litemor on the web. They are a nationwide lighting supplier and should be able to source anything you need.

I would recommend metal halide or high pressure sodium lighting for outdoors.

lowes in brampton has 300w equiv cfls (uses 65w) for 16$

This may seem odd but I think a lot of "grow shops" have these high wattage CFL's.
