Presently, I'm employed by a property management firm as a property accountant (8 years now). Although I enjoy my workplace, I'm looking to advance and unfortunately it may not be with my current employer (there are simply no opportunities).

As it stands, I can find a position as a property accountant for a different firm that may offer an opportunity to advance, but my thought is that it may be better to improve my education. I'm torn between continuing the CGA (accounting) program which I've been out of for several years, or switching gears and pursuing BOMI's RPA designation and changing careers and becoming a property manager.

If you're a property manager, what are your thoughts? Would you recommend BOMI's RPA program?

I appreciate everyone's input.

Thank you,

Tony
