Cellphone providers & your Credit File

I've been glancing over the Bell section (debating the pre :D) in Howard Forums and apparently they report to Equifax about your payment history (similar to a credit card).

Do Rogers / Telus do the same?

I also wonder if it helps your credit score if they do report -- assuming you pay on time.

All wireless companies do credit check. Except for prepaid of course.

How else are they going to make sure you are not someone who will run away with lots of debts with international roaming.

Everyone does a credit check before extending credit. I believe Rogers has now started reporting over due debts.

Well, I meant report to your credit file similar to a credit card does.

Ie: It shows your tenure with the company and a break down of each month showing whether you paid on time or not.

Yes, Rogers Wireless appears on Trans Union credit reports.
