Team... I've seen a few comments on front end etc. paint protection... but it's hard to tell what to look for (thickness, width, areas of the car that really need it, etc.)... and more importantly, which one is best to put on a white car (does the stuff that they sell/install today still get a yellow tinge over time?)

Lastly I've seen several recommendations for Audio Heaven in Richmond Hill - any other really good installers in the GTA?

Thx in advance for any info you can share...

3M and Ventureshield are the leaders in paint protection films. 3M now owns Ventureshield.

3M in the past had a product that was inferior to Ventureshield in terms of clarity because of the orange peel that was added to the clearcoat. Their latest products are very good.

Ventureshield, is very clear. This is not to say that the latest 3M products are not clear either. Your biggest concern is finding a good installer.

Both have guarantees to not yellow over time and carry manufacturer warranties. The important thing is to find a good installer who is certified and the product will be warrantied.

A very good installer that i would recommend and is located in Oakville (but is mobile) and is 3M certified is www.touchoftint.com Top notch work and can either install 3M or Ventureshield.

Make sure you get your hood and fenders covered with the most coverage you can, and do your front bumper too.
