We are looking to upgrade from a tent trailer to a hard top camper. Anyone on here use these models. The one we looking at us a 21RS model, a 2007 but brand new (literally, still has the plastic on things)
Former owner got it as a replacement from insurance, didnt like it and traded it in, so has maybe 30 kms on it.
Dealers here are hurting for business, so Im going in with a cheap offer. But just want to get some real world reviews from people that may own one
Thanks

Rockwood in particular are quite heavy. I found ours would cause quite a lot of sway on even a large car. Test it under severe braking or sudden lane change.

Actually the loaded weight of this one is less than some other similar models. Some were topping out at almost 6000 fully loaded where as this one is about 4800 lbs loaded.
I have sway bars and a load leveler hitch, but any trailer will sway Im sure under those conditions you mentioned. When you say car do you mean car, or truck or minivan
What model did you have, ours is the shorter 21' one with the hard read slide
And as far as I know, trailer dealers wont let you hook up trailers to test them out with your truck. I may be wrong, but ive never heard of that happening

After 2 camping trips with this I am extremly happy. Had two quick overnight stops on the last trip and the setup is so quick it will make travling farther alot easier. As with the tent trailer a quick overnight stop ment at least 45 minutes of just setup, while this one is maybe 10.
