Just curious to see what you RFD-ers choose, reasoning too.

imho:

CTS - good looking, but american.
BMW - ugly rear
Benz - if you want a benz, get an s class or dont get one at all.
Lexus- lol girl car

I'm sorry but I can't help myself... and yes I am biased, no Audi A4??? even worse, Cadillac??? Infinity would've been a better choice IMO : )

If it had to be those, I seriously would consider the CTS. It is really a sweet car inside out. The C-Class too, but only if it came with the sport package with the better looking grille and wheels.

BMW- still not liking the new body style, E46 will always be my favorite.
Lexus- Bland, and alot of women drive them, But very nice interior.

Lexus Is250 is best looking of them all, and I am a guy ;) but the engine sucks, and its interior space is very small, but interior/exterior very nice.

CTS - interior would be the best of all that is listed, you should put up interior shots.

BMW 3series, design inside/outside kind of bland, CS concept was a nice design, and 2013 3 series would be a different story.

And like the previous post said, where is A4???

It would be the Mazda:

I prefer mine, especially in the Evo trim.

either the bmw or the lex.
the caddy looks like its trying too hard, and Benz look boring to me for the most part.

+1 I love the EVO look.

The A4 isn't bad, or maybe the MKVI GTI :D

lol honestly how many C classes on the road do you see with that trim? when the sport package is free lol.

Why didn't you use the facelifted E9x 3 series?

CTS, and I also like the engine, plus if you could, CTS-V ftw!

Cadillac - Entry level car
BMW - Entry level car
Lexus - Entry level car
Mercedes - S Class? Really?

The S is a lot of things, but really good looking isn't one of them. It's an "I'm an old man with money, flock to me young women" car. Post a C class with the sports grille, then compare it to the rest.

ES_Revenge would choose the Toyota YAris.

You just cirvumvented the question of your own thread.

You say at first "on looks alone" and then bring in something irrelevant to looks like country of manufacture into it. Why bother making the thread at all if you're just going to contradict yourself in the first post? Strange.

Benz - if you want a benz, get an s class or dont get one at all.
Lexus- lol girl car
Again, what do these have to do with "looks alone"

ES_Revenge would choose the Toyota YAris.
LOL WTF? Why did I come into this before I even posted on this thread (and have barely posted at all on RFD for the last few weeks), and why would I pick a Yaris?

Anyway, on looks alone, of this group? I have to say the IS, with the Caddy (though a totally different design) a close second. The BMW comes in last for me, but I agree with the above comment about the C-Class. Most of them look a lot better than the one pictured. There's a lot to like about the C-Class looks as well (well not that one but the one with the "proper" front end).

He posted a C Class without Sport Package ...

Well I voted BMW. thats why I said that.

the 1 - series doesn't look bad.

looks alone eh?
Cadillac.
I didn't like the first gen CTS, but this new front fascial update has made wonders. The
front end is now sculptured and looks aggressive. Tail end looks like a standardized eldorado. Overall nice car. Looks alone.
Not a fan of the lexus IS.
2nd choice would be MB C-class.
3rd choice would be the BMW, I'd be higher than the MB if it wasn't for the back end. Slap on the 3 series coupe back end, and you've got a winner.

are you going to be buying one of these cars? ... LEXUS cuz it's a sexy car

Like others said, I too prefer the aggressive look of the CTS. It'd be followed by the G35/A4, then the rest of those girlie cars...

The best ones are when they claim to know nothing about cars at the beginning of the thread.

"Hi Guys, recommend me a car, I know absolutely nothing about cars but I don't want a domestic because they are unreliable and bad on gas. Thanks! xoxo"

Out of the four, Lexus, but again we're missing the audi.

CTS, and the 1st Gen CTS-V was waaaaayy better than the regular CTS IMHO.

Though as I have a CTS-V I am biased :)

For me, Cadillac and Audi. I like the G35/37 but not because of the looks. Not crazy about the IS but concede it's a decent car. The rest are, IMO, overly common on the streets - looks-wise.

MB's a bottom feeder to these eyes. Again, looks-wise.

YMMV

From a looks perspective, I don't know what it is, but I've ALWAYS disliked the looks of Cadillacs. Anyways, I pick the BMW and the Lexus. The Benz isn't that bad.

I pick C class with sport package. 2nd choice would be BMW 3, then CTS, last choice would be Lexus.

Lexus – chick car
Mercedes – grampa car
BMW – poser car
Cadillac – ghetto grampa poser car

I'd take an Infiniti.

The Lexus IS wins easily, based on looks alone.

The CTS today, especially the V/upcoming Coupe is the only GM/Domestic I would touch.

BMW & Mercedes, these models look terrible/step back in the Design department. The BMW, reminds me on a Hyundai (not that there's anything wrong with it). If this was say, the 335Ci or C350 then it would be different.

Cadillac. It just screams "GET OUT OF MY WAY!"

Honestly, I drove a 3 series, A4 and now a CTS and EVERYONE gets out of my way now lol. I'd hate to see me in my rear view mirror.
