I was wondering if anyone owns a 2007-09 Silverado/Sierra Reg.Cab V6 WT.

I'd really appreciate some owner feedback on:

Regular Cab size. Can you fit three people comfortably? How much space is behind the seats for some odds and ends, such as tools.

V6 Engine. I know it's been around for some time, but is it adequate for every day driving, including highway and some light hauling (no more than 500pounds). Also, what's your real world fuel economy.

All around quality. With all the trouble GM is in, I'm worried about cutting corners on quality. Has anyone run into any trouble, however small?

Thanks!

Have both an 2006 (manual) and 2008 (auto), 2WD, RC's with V6. No issues and yes they are full size truck so 3 adults fit fine. LEt's face it for the price of ~$17000 for these things what do you except. They are not stumper pullers with 200hp. But it gets u around and if necessary can haul.......

Space behind the RC is basic....maybe 8". If you're looking for more space in the cab to store you really need and extended cab. Go to a dealer and look at one.

We're happy........

ps- cashbacks today (JUNe 2) for the SIerra/Silverado are $8500. HOwever they took away the extended maint/sateliite mumbo jumbo plan (or the $1000 off not to take this offer). The loyalty program is slightly different but still there for another $1000. So bottom line on a $ purchase u had $10000 ($8+$1K+$1K) and now it $9500 ($8.5K+$1K)...........
