You can always also recycle an enclosure when you buy a portable drive and swap it into your notebook.
Deals on these are often cheaper than the naked drive.
Just make sure the model has the adapter in the enclosure, not soldered.

Shipping is free for the listed items. If you want to buy multiples, you currently have to do separate orders since there's a 1 code per order restriction.

Ordered 3 items, got to over $20, got a $5 off code off the internet that was 50c cheaper than the codes here.

Still, I wouldn't have even known about eforcity if not for this post.

Anyone ever try out these cubes? I ordered two. Was going to buy a 15 dollar cube from Mind Games but I saw these and for 1.99 it's worth a shot. Hopefully they are better than ones you can find in the dollar store haha.

ohh, and there is a black version of these drive enclosures for 8.99. I'm more interested in having a black one instead of boring silver. 1.50 more isn't too bad. http://www.eforcity.com/pothsata2501.html

I got the 2.5 enclosure from them maybe a month ago. It is not bad for the price. It does not have an on and off switch. Might get another one..thanks

if its the RFD affil. link that's causing problems, well instead of directly clicking the link posted, hover over the links, right click and "copy link location"
paste onto browser, and delete everything before "http://", press enter

Looks interesting, I'm wondering how picky the wii is though when it comes to these enclosures, they work though? some of these need power right? I might just try it anyway, I've got a 160gb 2.5inch hdd collecting dust.

Nice find, eForCity looks like the same thing, maybe even made in the same factory? If you need eSATA, this one looks identical and slightly cheaper than the one at DX:

Really nice find with the esata...how much is shipping?

I get $6.99 shipping, so $14.50 USD shipped for the one with eSATA.

how about some clarity on the free shipping. Their shipping policy seems to indicate they use ups. Their standard as op mentioned doesn't say usps or other or any indication of the courier. If its a cheaper slower ups won't we all be dinged their duty/administrative fees as ups has done to so many in the past.

Is this free shipping duty and all or is their gonna be a catch at the door?

When I ordered through them Canada Post delivered my item. So for standard they use USPS. There were no extra fees involved.

My order was only about 5 dollars though. I can't comment on anything higher than that.

I hate these sites you order like 10 times things under 20 you really have no use for. Then at the end of the month you wonder what they hell I owe an extra 200 for what ????......SH1T TO FILL YOUR JUNK DRAWER.....

and yes I did order the 2.5" drive enclosure and yes I don't have a 2.5" drive for it?

Just got my 2.5'' enclosure the other day... all i can say is that you get what you pay for. I opened it up and the inside plastic piece was all scratched and damaged. Also, I still have not received the 2'nd one that I ordered... so far not such a great experience with eForCity.

Don't get the magic puzzle cube. It's isn't worth the free shipping. Smaller than a real Rubik cube with paper stickers that come off easily. Better cubes can be had at your local dollar store. ( I ordered 12 of them and I am very disappointed ) Other eforcity merchandise is acceptable.
