Decent deal if you NEED a laptop; otherwise lukewarm:

Spend 20 bucks on ebay and double your RAM, and you've got a decent machine. Remote control, dual core, 17", 160 GB. There are probably only a couple of these, so snatch them up. Yes, it's a demo product, but all items I've ordered from these bums are top-notch.

I want lower taxes and fewer government services. ***********

Oh, and if you need a cheap pirate-hooker printer, now's the time as well:

These WILL come with uncracked inks, so not too shabby.

I beg to differ... when you are talking laptops the Core2 duos are far superior to the Turion line... not so much because of their capability, but because of their much lower watts used, and lower heat produced - both of which are paramount in a laptop.

i picked this one up a 4 or 5 months ago at this price, upgraded the ram for 40 bucks, been running good... only problem was it was shipped with a broken battery but hp replaced it no problems.... it's pretty nice, it comes with a remote, speakers are pretty decent too, definately worth 400 bucks... all together with shipping, taxes and upgrade it cost me about 500 bucks
