Doubtful you'll find this in Ontario as it contains "2,4-D" which is part of the new Provincial Cosmetic Pesticide ban:
GreenUp® Liquid Weed & Feed 15-2-3 (http://www.cil.nu-gro.com/products/product_e.php?prodID=523&category=1)
Contents:
Available Phosphoric Acid (P205) - 2.0%
Soluble Potash (K20) - 3.0%
2,4-D (present as amine)(actual) - 0.94%
Mecoprop-P (present as amine)(actual) - 0.47%
Dicamba (present as amine)(actual) - 0.09%
For our friends in Manitoba, enjoy your weed free lawns and parks (while you can) as ours look like hell --- and are making my allergies 200% worse than normal (I think that the Reactin lobbyists were behind this whole scheme)

Actually many people are allergic to grass. Very few have allergies to dandelions. So more dandelions, less grass is good news for allergy sufferers.
I have turned my front lawn into perennials, bark chips and flagstones. Much less work than lawn anyhow and looks more attractive IMO. We get lots of compliments.

dandlions are a type of weed....there are also ragweeds and crab grass which is also not controlled in parks right now....allergy sufferers hates ragweeds...

I asked my cousin in Winnipeg to check to see and he says they banned pesticides a couple years ago too. Checked Quebec too, same thing.
I don't know where to score my lawns 2-4D fix now.

Corn Gluten Meal in liquid form is available and working for me. I picked up some LiquiGold at Rona for about $40 and it was enough to cover my Lawn. It prevents any seed from germinating for ~6 weeks. I sprayed it just as the Dandelions were going white and don't have many. Liquid form is apparently better as the solid form attracts birds who eat it (since its a Corn byproduct).
Over seeding and coring in the early spring will help as the new grass will out compete the weeds if the lawn is properly aerated - just make sure to give the grass seeds a few weeks before using the Gluten. As soon as you see small grass leaves, you're good.
Another option if you keep having problems is to establish a natural grass and clover lawn. (http://www.versicolor.ca/lawns/docs/clover.html)
The real problem is the parks, as not only are they overrun with Dandelions, they goldenrod and other allergenic weeds are growing unchecked and the size for this time of year is ridiculous.

I have no problem a cosmetic pesticide ban (see my subsequent post), as long as Cities took appropriate actions to inhibit weeds in parks and recreation areas so allergy and asthma sufferers will not be made to suffer and, perhaps, die.
It would appear the Cities in the GTA (amongst others I am sure) are using this ban a means of completely removing weed control costs from their budgets as opposed to implementing alternatives such as gluten.

Resist the urge to bash. I want a weed free lawn. And I have the tools to remove them but the weeds are definitely winning the war.
How does one get their hands on some of the "banned in Ontario" pesticide/herbicides.

No you have to put it up on an external site. Easiest to use is probably imageshack.us It will give you a "hotlink" url and you can just post that in your message and the picture will show up.
We use Weedman at work to come in and treat the lawn using their 5 step natural program (forget the name of it exactly) and it does a pretty good job. There is a big gap between our lawn and the neighbour (who has a lot of dandelions) but still the grass looks pretty good on our property.

Sorry, can't resist. There really is no defense for the use of these chemicals just to have a thick lawn (temporarily). They are a serious threat to people (especially small children and the unborn) as well as to pets and other animals. And when they seep into the water table, it affects everyone around you.
If you think about it, you're losing the war with the weeds because they belong and the grass doesn't. Which is native to the area you live in? You can try to beat back nature and carve out your own space as you see fit, but get off your asses and do it the old fashioned way.

Actually I paid landscapers to do that part of the job. Not the RFD way I know, but I didn't have the time or strength. Those rocks are heavy!
However, real estate "experts" say that money spent landscaping is one of the best investments in increasing property value, curb appeal, etc. We do get a lot of positive comments from people walking their dogs, etc.

Just apply some white vinegar and the stuff growing between your stones will go away.

I don't know if you've been following, but Dow Chemical is planning to sue Canada and the provinces for banning pesticides because it is not legal to so so under the NAFTA rules.
They claim that there is NO danger when pesticides and herbicides are used responsibly.
Now, I for one believed (as in past tense) the green hype about how all this stuff is bad for the environment until I read an article from CTV and the CBC which quoted the David Suzuki Foundation as CONFIRMING that this claim was true.
Their stance remains unchanged, however. They believe that we should retain the ban aginst these chemicals for the reason that

"This is a no-brainer," Lisa Gue of the David Suzuki Foundation told CTV.ca.
"This is a completely unnecessary source of chemical exposure. It just makes
sense that in a world where we are surrounded by so many chemicals to ban
unnecessary ones."
Unnecessary?
Beer is 'unnecessary', Wine is 'unnecessary' and so on. I could go on forever.
But if the REAL environmentalists can only come up with the fact that we should ban this stuff because it is 'unnecessary', then why do we buy into all this crap?
I've also been told that we should let our lawns be 'more natural'.
Well, newsflash; The 'natural' state of the land around here is light mixed forest. Lawns and gardens are almost as foreign as asphalt.

I had weeds growing in my gravel driveway ( long second driveway to my back workshop ). I killed them with salt :) I used a couple big bags of water softener salt ( as it's fairly cheap ) and spread it all through the driveway. It killed them all! :)
Warning... salt kills EVERYTHING green, so it wouldn't be useful for your lawn.
