View Full Version : 2008 Honda Accord LX rear bumper hit

Yesterday, while reversing in a parking lot, I failed to observe this small pole in the middle of nowhere (because its height was about 1 meter, I couldn't see it in my rear & side view mirrors) and hit my 2008 Accord's rear bumper (near the right side). Here's a picture:

It looks like the bumper is punctured; however, thats NOT a gap you are seeing in the picture. The front part of the bumper has just bent inwards. Thus, there is no physical gap between the two sides of the puncture.

I would just like to know how much approximately a repair like this would cost me?

I was quoted $300 from a CAA certified collision center. It looked like a decent place considering the cars that were in their body shop. A few BMW's and mostly other imports. Is that an okay price?
