nub question : what's it mean? :)
Ontario's street racing law. If you go 50+km/h over the speed limit, your car is immediately impounded, you temporarily lose your license, and you have to go to court for a hefty fine.

Posted speed limit is 100 km/h on highways so 149 max is fastest you can go before you get hit with "street racing". :lol:

Yeah that's strange eh? I guess most people get them when they get their car so $200 or so on top of $30k isn't really a big deal when you think of it in relative terms...

The thing I don't like about personalised plates is how it takes like two months to get them but yet you have to pay for them up front :rolleyes: Like I want to get a personalised plate myself and don't mind the two month wait, but I don't think they should charge you for it before you even get it. A deposit maybe, sure, but pay for the whole thing and then wait two months with them having your $$$ and you might not even get it approved? Another government scam op! No private company would get away with that crap.

As for plate ideas, I've had a few of them in case I owned certain cars... If I had a Vette or some other car with an LSx engine for example, I'd probably try to get one like "PSHRDPWR". Given the "AMG LOL" one above, you could also get "OHC LOL" or "DOHC LOL" :)

You could expand that LOL bit to a lot of car rivalries I guess. Like an EVO driver could have "WRX LOL" or "STI LOL"; a WRX/STi owner could have "EVO LOL". Maybe "LOL" plates will become the new "NV" plates :lol:

I once saw a Neon SRT4 with the plate "NOTSOSLO", which I thought was clever...

Probably easier that way. Otherwise they'd have to start policing plates to enforce language laws, and decide if "TSX RLZ" is actually an english phrase.
