Seagate 7200.11 500GB SD15 firmware

I have a Seagate 7200.11 500GB drive with the SD15 firmware and I wanted to know if there is a firmware update for it yet. I read that its prone to failing so I have not used it since I got it waiting for an easy firmware update to show up. Is there a firmware update for it yet? Or am I reading just the negatives and overall this drive isnt that prone to failure?

I don;t think the 500's where effected, but the 1 tb & 1.5's where. I know my 750 had a firmware update to do on it & then its been fine since.

Actually, 500GBs were affected. Mine was affected but SD1A solved it though.
