New LG BD360 Blu-ray player at Costco

FYI, Costco has the new LG player for $250. It plays all formats including DIVX. Here is the info:

Not only does it looks nice, it performs nicely. This player played everything I have in my arsenal.

Divx on DVD-R/+R and CD-R too
MKV on DVD-R/+R DVD5 and DVD9
MP4 on DVD-R
backed up DVD on DVD-R
and naturally Bluray disc

The only thing which I don't have are DVD+RW disc. Which I think they support as well.

$249 plus taxes is a bit high compare to what you can pick up sub $150 Bluray players. This unit is the beginning to open up for more players to come that support H264 and VC-1 from other containers available.

Pick one up, you won't be disappointed. The only thing it can't do is networking to map to network shared drive. Beside that why bother with an HDI Prime.
