Savings Account versus Mutual Funds

Mutual funds are better than Savings? I know mutual funda are risky but the rate of return is a bit more...So what u guys suggest?

It depends on your goals. If you're saving to buy something in the next year or two, fixed income (savings account/GIC/short term bonds/money market) is the way to go. If you're saving for retirement and it's still many years away, you should be better off with some equity exposure.
