Hi everybody,

I got a ton of PM's with some great ideas on a radio ad campaign and I've added a few of my own.

Now I need your votes to help pick the best two. Bring them on.

BTW- We've decided to go with AM640 and 680 News in the GTA and if its succesful we'll expand the campaign across the country.

Thx
CCCPres

TAG #1

With insider pricing information we guarantee you’ll buy your new car cheaper. Visit CAR COST CANADA DOT COM for your confidential wholesale savings report and save big.

TAG #2

Get your new car cheaper with secret factory rebates. Save even more when you know the real pricing story. Visit CAR COST CANADA DOT COM for confidential price reports.

TAG #3

Thinking of buying a new Honda, Hyundai or Hummer? Go to CAR COST CANADA DOT COM first to get dealer invoice prices, secret factory rebates and more. Go to CAR COST CANADA DOT COM.

TAG #4

Uncover huge unadvertised secret factory rebates only at CAR COST CANADA DOT COM. Plus get a big dealer discount with invoice prices and more. Go to CAR COST CANADA DOT COM.

TAG #5

Negotiate like a pro with secret factory rebates from CAR COST CANADA DOT COM. Plus get a big dealer discount, dealer invoice prices and more. Go to CAR COST CANADA DOT COM.

TAG #6

You’ve heard it’s a great time to buy a new car. But how? Its easy with dealer invoice prices, big dealer discounts and secret factory rebates from CAR COST CANADA DOT COM.

Why so much emphasis on 'secret rebates'?

I really like your service but you present it like a bad infomercial when you start talking about 'secret prices' like there's some kind of dealer conspiracy.

Skip the hype and stick to the facts: CCC gives you dealer invoice pricing on vehicles and factory options, continual updates on all sales incentives and contact with the dealers who can help you buy the car you want at the right price.

I like #1... excellent example of KISS principle.

I prefer number 2... sounds nice plus hits some words that will make listeners pay attention:
Get your new car cheaper with secret factory rebates. Save even more when you know the real pricing story. Visit CAR COST CANADA DOT COM for confidential price reports.
So for the person not paying that much attention they may catch the words like this:

Cheaper secret rebates. Save even more. Real Pricing Story. Confidential Price Reports.

At least would make me want to listen to the ad a second time.

I like #2 the best.

Here's one for funsies

"Nice car Jay, finally made use of the aggressive pricing?"

*Wiping of car with sleeve sound*

"Yea, for $35,000 out the door, they gave me a great price!"

"For the navi package and leather? That's great! My wife paid $36,000 cash for the same car last month!"

"No, no, what? Mines the base model..."

"Can't be, ahah, they have a $2500 rebate and a $1000 cash rebate on it, don't be silly."

"W-W-Wait, what....?"

*Narrator phases in*

"Should of gotten a report on the secret dealers invoice. Car Cost Canada dot com will tell you about any secret rebates, incentives and rates, so you don't have to make the same mistake poor Jay did."

"I-I-I'll trade you my wife and car for your wife and car..!"

"What?"

"Uhhhhh................nevermind *nervous chuckle* "

I personally think 5 is the best. (680 news or wherever).

CCC is a service to help negotiate the LOWEST price I feel, and it often uncovers the "secret dealer rebates" (cue scary music).

I like #5, but it sounds like the rebates are coming from CCC.

How about changing "Negotiate like a pro with secret factory rebates from CAR COST CANADA DOT COM" to "Negotiate like a pro with factory rebate secrets from CAR COST CANADA DOT COM" ?

That makes it clear that you're providing the secrets, not the rebates.

I like #1 but there's liability issues with the slogan what if the individual cannot get a cheaper price using CCC. (trying to minimize the risk of potential headaches - unless there's a stipulation or disclosure somewhere).

My suggestion would be to have a shorter URL, like anycar.ca or something like that.

EDIT: 3c.ca is available. You'd have to register threec.ca as well because of the aural ambiguity.

I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to give us great feedback on our new radio ad campaign.

It should start on 680News in the GTA on Monday June 1st and on AM640 on June 8th.

I'll post the final versions of the ads later today.

We're just in the final stages of tweaking the two best ones based on all the feedback we recieved.

BTW- Here's a funny one that was suggested, but we're not going to go with it for obvious reasons, but it sure would be catchy

"Buying a new car? Don't take a lick'n, start by click'n at Car Cost Canada Dot Com"

Just a reminder. I'm offering 5 free CCC reports added to your membership just for voting to pick the best one.

All you have to do is vote for the best ads in our poll here

http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/s...d.php?t=743343

Tell all your friends!

We can always change the ads later, so any new ideas for 10 second radio ads are still welcome. Wouldn't it be cool to hear your commercial on the radio? . . . You could be a star!

Thx

BTW- Here are 2 final versions of the 10 sec radio ads. We ended up tweaking them a bit to try to take into consideration everybody's comments. I hope you like them.

They'll start monday morning on 680 News in Toronto:lol:

TAG #1

With insider pricing information you’ll always buy your new car for less (pregnant pause) . . a lot less. Get your confidential wholesale invoice price report now, exclusively at CAR COST CANADA DOT COM

TAG #2

You’ve heard it’s a great time to buy a new car. But how? Its easy! . . with dealer invoice prices, all-new factory rebates and big dealer discounts, exclusively from CAR COST CANADA DOT COM.

Voted for #1. The others are good also but I feel that "secret rebates" is kinda misleading. It implies that CCC is giving the rebates which they are not. It's more like "secret factory incentives" no?

So how do these 10 sec ads work exactly? Sounds like one of the bumpers ads that the anchorperson throws in between traffic/weather reports.

Or the price quote/deals/rebates only avaiable in GTA? Thanks.

For the most part, new car prices are the same throughout Canada. In some rare cases the incentives might be different.

We include ALL incentives on ALL reports, so you'll see if the incentives are different in other parts of the country all on the same report.

The only difference in the final price that you'll pay is how much the dealer may accept as a profit margin.

Other than some rare examples, most dealers on most models will sell for 3%-4% over their wholesale invoice cost price and pass along ALL applicable factory incentives.

Some members have reported buying at even lower margins, but not too often.
