Installing now... it says it may take an hour or more. :eek: I'll report back after I install it.

Nothing noticeable yet here. I think most of the updates were under the hood.

My HTPC does not boot properly after installing SP2. Right after the windows logo appears, the TV says it does not get a signal, I hear the hard-drive spinning for a while though. Maybe my ATI 1950 video card does not like something about the service pack.
I guess I will have to restore the system (in safe mode) to a previous restore point to get rid of SP2.

I noticed it re-indexed the thumbnails of images and folders on the desktop (for 10 seconds) on the first boot. After that though, nothing else :P

haha I do that too
In fact, I download Win7 RC using my university's bandwidth...I guess it's one way to make the most of my 60GB/month cap with Rogers :D

Loaded two days ago...other than the install time, I see no difference
