ASSUMING:
-CAD will equal USD at Point A
-USD > CAD sometime after Pont A

Since money deposited into Questrade Forex Account will immediately be converted to USD, couldn't I hypotheticaly 'trade' CAD with USD without actually making any trades?

(e.g. when CAD = USD --> Transfer in money into Forex
when CAD < USD --> Transfer money back out to bank account)

Or

Would it make more sense:
1. Transferring money into Forex (where it automatically gets converted to USD)
2. Trade to CDN
3. Trade CDN to USD when it makes sense to

The latter would make sense only because (in my experience) money transferred into my Questrade typically takes a few days.

Wouldn't transferring back to CDN (while in your Forex) incur unnecessary costs?
