On May 11th, I sent ryokinshin (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/member.php?u=83367) 170$ through EMT for an EEE PC (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=736918) after looking at his history and BST feedback (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/itrader.php?u=83367). The payment was accepted a few minutes later.

On the 13th, I contacted ryokinshin to check if the unit had been shipped. He replied and told me it would be shipped on the next day.

On the 15th, I sent another PM asking for the tracking number. On the 16th, he replied that he would provide me with the tracking number on the next day. That's the last I've heard of him.

I've sent several more PMs since, and he has been online nearly every day after, but there is still no sign of the package, nor any reply to PMs so I'm assuming he's running with the money.

On the 23rd, I game him a 48 hour notice before I posted this thread. He was online since, but did not respond to the message. There was another thread about him a while back (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=674405&highlight=ryokinshin) which apparently resolved itself.

I was able to collect quite a bit of information of him (real name, schools he's attended, friends, email addresses, gamer tags, etc.). What now? Should I wait to see if the package arrives even though it's been two weeks, or more forward? I can't understand why he'd destroy his reputation for a meager 170$.

Should the package arrive, or a proper tracking number be provided to me, I'll edit and close this thread, but I doubt that's going to happen now.

Probably shipped it out using a non trackable method to save $.

I asked him for shipping charges during the initial chat and he provided me with a 20$ round figure, which sounds about right for Xpresspost. There's also no reason for him not to have simply told me that he was sending it via Parcel post instead of ignoring PMs if that were the case.

Well, he probably pocketed the extra $ and shipped it via. small parcel, lol

edit: nm, looks like almost all parcel services include tracking within Canada... pretty strange

He's posted a new item for sale today too.

Well perhaps he may share his account then with another person... one guy reads the PM but doesn't respond since it isn't his sale, and posts up his item.

Let's just say that no one ever wants to be on Jac's bad side...
Good for him though, I'd want him on my side!

As i can see you have experienced similar situation as i did when dealing with this person:

1) Very slow response (even though he reads your pm 2 days earlier)
2) Broken promise (your case not shipping on time, my case not meeting as agreed)
3) Time wasting (2 weeks for me)

but at least you got some refund, hopefully get the product soon. I was unable to do the deal b/c of his strange behavior as well.

No feedback/neutral feedback will be appropriate after the transaction. Good luck OP.

Tracking number received. As long as the package contains the unit in the condition described, it'll be safe to close this thread.

Im curious.. if you receive the package as described will you be returning the $50 or was that discounted for the delay?

Memo to self: when the time comes to start ripping off RFDers, leave JAC off the list.

It was a discount to make up for the delays, which I find pretty nice of him - albeit I would have preferred a speedier response and shipping, but I'm getting a great deal if the package pulls through and the item is as described. (note: 50$ is a full 33% off the original 150$ of the item)

[EDIT] Package scheduled to arrive on Monday, June 1st if someone is at home to sign for it. Else it'll be picked up at the post office on Tuesday.
