Just so you know, $3.19 is the regular price for 7-day delivery. It's half price if you compare it to the regular newsstand price. And hardly anyone buys from a box 7 days a week. I telemarketed for the star for a few months a little while back.

If you're looking for the star anyways, the $25 dollar GC DOES make it pretty hot, to be honest.

This was posted a couple of days ago. Post was OP's first post. This is not a hot deal. This is advertising for the Star. I guess they like all news papers are experiencing hard times. I also believe the fine print states that if you do not cancel after 6 months the subscription continues at full price. Be careful.

I guess you are right. I moved a while ago and stopped my subscription to the Star. I was paying about $26 per month for home delivery so paying $13 per month for the next 6 months (with no further commitment) and getting a $25 gift card is not such a great deal.
