However, for a camera for your kids, not a bad deal.

I would not even buy this for a kid. If you want to learn from my mistake, I bought one for my daughter, it was pure junk, very poor picture quality, extremely hard on batteries, even good NiMh batteries. I ended up upgrading my P&S camera and gave her my 4 year old Canon which is superior in every way.

Yep, that's what the "CC" in TSCC stands for.

You can get brand new REAL cameras for similar money.

Actually, your crap might be worth more than this crap.


Also, if you teach your crap your crap will take better picture than this camera.

I bought one for $29 bucks and returned it immediately (had to pay restocking fee) because picture quality was worse than my webcam.

Megapixel does not mean anything when the quality is so bad...at 8MP, this camera takes really really big crappy picture.

Yeah, photography is all about capturing light through a lens. When the lens is crap the captured images will also be crap, no matter what resolution.

Resolution is overblown anyway. Unless you are doing some serious cropping, or enlargements, you can get good results with a lot less than 8MP.
