Randomly saw this on their site...warm IMO if you live near a TD.

yeah, you're right. it's a warm deal..

these head phones aren't the greatest. i bought them from FS, didn't like them, returned it.
then i tried the se210's, they were pretty good but my friend told me to get the ultimate ears, and i liked the UE's better.

FS doesn't PM TigerDirect.. They consider them liquidators.

Depends on the person you talk to. I've PMed TD at both BB and FS in the past.

IMO, this is how much they should cost normally. They're very much overpriced at their regular pricing (like most of the Shure line), but for this price, they're not half bad. Just don't expect a world out of them. But for that price and taking local availability into consideration, I'd have to think hard on which IEM's would beat them.

depends on your technique..
if TD is an authorized dealer.. then they have to match it..

'liquidator' is just a marketing term or branding like 'superstore' 'outlet'.. etc

Warm for entry level IEMs, the RE2s here (http://head-direct.com/product_detail.php?p=23) for $39.00 is more on the level of Shure 210s or 310s. They used to cost $80.00 too so the sale price makes it even better.

+1 on UE and Etymotic

how do these compare to my old e2c's? is it worth picking up this pair if I already have the old ones?

They're about the same. Not worth it if you already have the e2c's.

denied my pm because "model dont match", TD selling white SE110(SE110E) and FS black SE110(SE110EFS) >:(
edit: anyway, I sent them another email as the LPG policy demands: Same brand, Same model, Brand new, with Manifacturer Waranty. It doesnt state anything about color...
