View Full Version : Minimal or Liquid Diet for 1-2 Day Cleansing. Anyone do it?

I used to be able to go 8-10 hours with no food and felt great because my internal parts were clean, in the morning I felt energetic when I woke up and that carried through most of the day. In the past couple of years I can't go without eating if 3-4 hours pass, I don't know why because not much has changed and diet is still the same and even when I feel good on good days and sleep good at night, I feel crap in the morning.

I think the problem might be the crap inside me and I want to clean it out, The best way is supposed to be through a liquid or minimal diet for about a week but I don't think I can do that, so I am going to do it for a day or 2 if the first day is good, problem is I don't no what I can eat that is small and will give me a lot of energy so I don't feel weak and tired, nor do I know what to drink. I don't want any of those crap energy drinks because those make me sick. I don't know if there are any vitamins that you can take on an empty stomach, maybe that would be good.

Does anyone have any advise? I know some religions have a yearly sunrise to sundown fast where they don't eat or drink during the day and that when it falls in the summer it can be as long as 16 hours, if anyone that does that has any advise that would be great but mine would be a bit different because it won't be that long in between and there would be some intake but it would be minimal.

Lots of fibre should clean you out.

+1

And don't forget the exercising! These 2 things would work better than a liquid diet for sure

-------------------

I was on an all liquid diet for 2 weeks when I got my wisdom teeth out. But those 2 weeks were all a daze. All I drank was ensure, and was probably only getting 1200 - 1400 Cal's / day

I also fast once in a while for a day at a time. Trust me, after fasting, you don't feel cleansed, more like...constipated

High colonic should clean out that crap inside you.

I have tried fibre, the only thing it does is give me stomach pain and makes me drink more water because I feel more thirsty and eat more for some reason. I don't want to try that medical colonic thing. I have tried ensure but those things taste so bad I threw up.

Its a weird taste. Not really bad. But it turns to gel really quickly, so i just gulp it down when its still liquidy.

A few years ago I did it for 3 days. All I had was fresh juice with no pulp. First day was the hardest. After that it was smooth sailing.

They have all-bran cereals with psyllium fibre.

It's not that bad. Add some raisons to it and it tastes like raison bran

I have the all-bran buds. Sprinkle cinnamon on them, and they taste like cinnamon toast crunch I find.

There's a liquid you take before you have a colonoscopy. You just add it to water and drink a few glasses, and don't eat for a day.
It will clean you out perfectly.
