The Chicago style deep dish pizzas are way, way, way overrated - but I didn't hear nearly enough praise for the hot beef sandwiches before I went - they're the best - and Al's is the best of the best imho.

http://www.loumalnatis.com/ downtown is by far the best I've tasted in Chicago. It's right across from the original UNO's Pizzeria.

i've been to chicago twice and te deep dish there is amazing. We went to a few different places and they were all good.

big fan of Lou's, but I also recommend Pequods. How I miss my deep dish.

The hot dog might not be anything special but you have to check out the weiner circle after the bar. It is something else.

Haha, yeah i happened to be watching it and then made this thread.

I was craving that chipotle on avocado spread. And since i won't be going to Mexico anytime soon, im glad i can find this food in Chicago.
