My water heater (gas) just died and i had it replaced. Unfortunately they couldnt turn on the heater because the "liner" has debris in it and carbon monoxide? I have no idea what that mens but what i saw was the piping leading from the heater to the chimney had a little debris in it. A liner expert came in, took a 3 second look at the debris and quoted me $500. To me it looks like a couple inute job to pull out the debris and attach the unit back.
Is there something i can do to get the liner repaired so that i personally can reattach the water heater. I'm sure Home Depot has what i need.
Thanks.
