I am in love with these! Where can I get them to bake myself? Or maybe premade frozen? LOL I know it's horrible for my health but I'm craving them :razz:

Dude, I'm totally with you. They're amazing. So is the chicken most of the time. But no one else I know agrees with me.

They aren't really hard to make, look for biscuit a recipe online, I'm sure there are millions.

In a pinch, Pillsbury makes biscuits in a tube that are decent if you're not into baking.

Pillsbury is probably worse than Popeye's! All their products have an insane amount of transfat. Just go to Popeyes and stock up. You can't possibly reproduce the amazing taste.

google up a buttermilk biscuit recipe, pick the one that calls for the MOST butter :razz:

Popeyes Biscuits (Copycat)
Recipe #50737 | 27 min | 15 min prep

Ingredients
2 cups bisquik baking mix
1/2 cup light sour cream
1/2 cup Sprite

Directions
1 Mix Bisquick and sour cream with pastry blender.
2 Stir in Sprite.
3 Pat lightly on a floured surface.
4 Cut out biscuits and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet at 400°F for 10-12 minutes. Brush with melted butter and enjoy.

i love popeyes buscuits, but havent had any in prolly 1.5 years since i stopped eating fried chicken. its just a few wings every 1/2 year+ now, and its not popeyes. should go out and pick up a few popeyes buscuits sometime. =)

i love popeyes. red lobster has good ones too.

i would personally rather just buy them than make them at home.

Popeye's biscuits are just... irresistible. But I can only eat one, occasionally two during one meal.

Speaking of Popeye's, I hate how they changed their cajun fries... the old ones were million times better.

Yup! When I used to go during their endless shrimp promotions, I would never be able to order a second round of food because of all the biscuits i've already eaten.

I speculate it was part of an effort to reduce trans fat or something like that. But the new ones are definitely crap.

Yea. I really don't like eating biscuits but I love red lobsters cheddar bay biscuits.

Popeyes are alright as long as they're bresh baked (from frozen) and lathered with melted butter (which is what they do most of the time)

so true. they taste amazing but are quite 'cakey'. i usually have to chase a bite immediately with a drink, but still oh so good.

i was also pissed they changed the fries. they look pail an old, but the taste isn't that far off.

They changed everything... the biscuits are probably the only thing that is edible now.
