Like many others here I purchased a NG Vermont Casting BBQ from HD. I disconnected my old NG Broil Mate via the quick connect/disconnect, however the quick connect male end on the new Vermont Casting does not seem to fit in the female end on my current one. The male end seems just a little too large, it does not click in. It does however fit in the quick connect provided with the BBQ. Two questions.
1. Do quick connects come in different sizes
2. Is this something I can change myself? The NG line was installed by the builder with the correct shutoff etc below the quick connect.
