And the nice thing is, this is the summer stuff, that actually does a pretty good job of removing bugs and stuff, plus leaves that RainX residue that keeps things from sticking to well in the first place!

I think the 12V impact wrench is pretty handy. Got it when CT was selling it for same price. Was skeptical that something you plug into you cig lighter could handle the job. Since I got it last winter, I changed my set of tires from winter to summer, summer to winter and winter back summer with no problems. Could be handy if you had to change a flat in minus 20 degree weather.
PM at CT for 10% off the difference in CT money.

This is the flyer for April 9th to May 9th or so.
On the last Page there is a 12V Emergency Jack... Now common sense would tell me that is a bad thing (hence the term emergency I guess) as I could see the the jack blowing the fuse and then one would also be in another state of trouble.
Any chance anyone has any experience with this product. Almost seems to go hand in hand with the Impact wrench.

No big deal... the winter stuff, mostly won't freeze in the winter time, so there is no worry about that in the summer... the chemical (Rain-X additive) is the same.

pretty nice for $25 (they were just 1 left by the time I got mine) 12:30 pm, Highland (Kitchener).
When they were processing the invoice, the computer prompted that "sale price is below cost" :D
Thanks OP

Went to the Queensway(Etobicoke) Partsource and when I asked about the sale on pink Rain-X - I was basically laughed out the house. They said they DID have that deal early in April, but not now.
OP: where and when did you get that flyer with dates of Apr 23-26? The current online flyer at www.partsource.ca DOESN'T have this deal at all.
Has ANYBODY else actually bought the RAIN-X at Partsource today at the quoted price of 2 for $4?

Nope but it did require two knocks to loosen it. After screwing back in I did hand torque it slightly just as a precaution.

The Emergency Jack is a total waste of money, unless you are some extreme couch potato or are trying to make your 8 year old change a tyre, LOL. Seriously all it is, is a scissor jack with an electric motor.
You probably won't blow the car's fuse with it because:
i. Fuses hold a little more current than rated and most lighter sockets are fused at 15A.
ii. There is probably an inline fuse in the plug of the jack which would probably blow before the car's fuse.
iii. It's a scissor jack. There is so much mechanical advantage with a scissor jack it's not funny. If you've ever used a scissor jack you'd know that you can raise most cars with one without even using the bar it comes with. I mean literally you can turn the nut on it with two fingers and get the car to start going up--that's how much mechanical advantage there is. The current required by the motor would not be that great.
Of course scissor jacks are also notoriously unreliable and easy to break as well, which means there's no way you should be spending $50 on one just becuase it has some fancy motor. I mean by the time you plug that thing in and press the button to raise it and wait for it to raise, I'd probably have the car up in the air with a non-powered one, and some of the wheel lugs off by then LOL. Plus if it breaks like any scissor jack does after more than a few uses, then you just put $50 down the drain.
It looks "cool" but it's just an overpriced scissor jack. What's funny is how you mentioned the impact goes hand in hand with it. What I bet you could do with a non-powered scissor jack is just have an adapter for the end bit to fit on the impact wrench and just spin up the jack with the impact hahaha. No need for the powered jack if you have the impact! (Though I would not recommend attempting this as scissor jacks are fairly unstable as it is, no need to go banging at it with an impact gun, lol.)
